ErrDaisha Floyd is a 7th grade teacher in the Bronx, NY. She uses her background in community organizing, restorative Justice and healing justice in the classroom to encourage students to use their voice, question their assumptions, and see themselves in history. Her pedagogy is explicitly anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist. She has been a member of the YAC for four years and specializes in creating meditative and mindful spaces at PSY conferences. She is originally from Tampa, Florida and was the first person in her family to attend a 4 year university with a full ride scholarship.
