Rural Mutual Aid: Action Planning Session

Mutual Aid is the powerful practice of reciprocity, solidarity, community and the mutual recognition that we don't live in a scarcity state, but rather that abundance is always present when people come together in whatever ways they can. Rural and Southern communities across the US have and continue to lead the way for innovation and sustainability in mutual aid practices. This action planning and knowledge-sharing session will provide attendees with an interactive space to discuss best practices conducting community needs assessments, co-creating feedback loops and evaluation processes with community stakeholders and engaging meaningfully and compassionately with our neighbors and communities.

Speakers:

  • Hollis France, Facilitator, Transformative Teaching Collective (TTC)

  • Domenico Ruggerio, Facilitator, Transformative Teaching Collective (TTC)
