HIV/AIDS Prevention: Supporting Youth Clients

During this session, attendees will learn pragmatic approaches to actualizing housing as healthcare by reviewing how programs, policies and procedures can better ensure regular access to testing and resource navigation for youth clients, discussing best practices for communication standards during intake for clients living with HIV/AIDS and walking through funding currently available to supporting young people living with HIV/AIDS. Learn about two new innovative grants that support youth mentoring, peer navigation, and community activism by placing power and resources directly in the hands of youth.
