Cash Transfers as Prevention and Diversion

Give Young People Money —that's the central focus of this session, led by providers participating in direct cash transfer programs across the country. Learn how direct cash transfers (DCT) can be used as a diversion and prevention tool for youth at risk of experiencing homelessness and housing instability in rural areas. Hear speakers dismantle adultism concerns regarding DCT, explore best practices for elevating community benefits, explore data and statistics on DCT work across the US, and provide more insight on this reparative and restorative intervention.
