National Youth Mentorship and Empowerment Initiative 2023-2024

Hey y’all it’s ya boy Mason, I’m excited to be here for year 2 of the PAFY cohort. I am a consultant and facilitator on queer, trans, black and brown youth empowerment. My personal experience guides and informs change within government systems, to create solutions and strategies for ending and preventing homelessness. I am passionate about expressing myself freely and advocating for my peers to express themselves too. My favorite way to channel my expression is through my art and my clothing which often cross into each other because I design clothes and costumes. I've been an artist my whole life and have been sewing since I was a small child. I aim to connect to myself and the world around me through the combination of my love for the arts, passion for activism, and the magic of storytelling.
