Affirming Young People Through Peer Support: Creating Safe Spaces for Young People Living with/at risk of HIV

LGBTQ + and BIPOC young people experiencing homelessness face the highest risk of exposure to HIV/AIDS. At the same time, these young people also face the least accessible and equitable access to care, support, and sustainable peer support networks. Learn how Point Source Youth’s Youth Advisory Council, the National Youth Mentorship and Empowerment Initiative Leaders, and Direct Cash Transfer (DCT) Peer Learning Communities have developed tools and resources like handbooks, animated videos, and more to support organizations in co-developing peer support spaces with young people.
